Vitamin D

Finally the rain ended, while at least for a day. Laurie and I were keen to get out and take in some sun. The snow quality wasn't worth driving too far for so we settled on a tour at Diamond Head.

White Smoke

With placements finally finished and a Wednesday off classes (at least in our books), Pat (a classmate) and I headed up the Duffy Lake Road to see what the cold temps had left behind.

Curse of the Weekend Warrior

The past 4 weeks have been like Ground Hog Day:
Mon/Tues Snow
Wed/Thurs Cold and Clear
Fri/Sat/Sun Warm and Rainy

Becky and I decided to get out of the city and headed
to Cayoosh for a tour in the trees.

We should have just taken the GT out for a rip!

It's amazing how excited you get to see the
sun when you live in Vancouver

Baker

Becky and I may have been a little too optimistic thinking the Baker backcountry might be good this weekend. We arrived to a parking lot full of water and rain coming down sideways. Needless to say the outing was a short one.
